As new drive units and ancillary materials have become available over the years, the basic model has been re-vamped several times, culminating in the most recent version, the widely-acclaimed Tablette 50. In all, more than 50,000 pairs of T ablettes have been sold worldwide to date - a remarkable achievement for such a specialised design and a tribute to the consistent development of its superior sound quality. This Signature model is the zenith blending an inspired design with the very latest refinements in drive unit technology to deliver a natural and detailed sound set in an astonishingly large soundstage. With exceptional accuracy, flatness of response,. lack of colouration and minimal distortion, the Tablette 50 Signature suggests itself as the most desirable mini-monitor on the market today.
Virtually all aspects of the basic Tablette 50 design have been enhanced and refined in the Signature. Bass has been tightened and become even more controlled through the introduction of a sophisticated new five inch bass/midrange driver. This unit features a special copper magnet assembly, copper phase plug and polycarbon cone, set in a die-cast chassis. Loaded by twin open reflex ports in the rear of the cabinet, bass response is powerful and extended yet remains crisp and clearly defined. This bass/midrange unit blends with a sophisticated new 3/4' dome tweeter, an updated version of the Tablette 50 unit. With honeycomb-wound voice coil and ferrofluid damping this new driver delivers incredible detail and openness whilset blendingaining the characteristic sweetness of the standard model. Mated seamlessly by a specially dedicated crossover network, the drive units are housed in a formidable cabinet, critically strengthened and heavily damped to cope with the high power levels which the drivers generate.
