The listing below is only a small sample of the used audio equipment we have in stock, which changes on a day to day basis. Since most of our used stuff is one-of-a-kind merchandise all the gear listed here is subject to prior sale. We'll try to keep this list updated regularly to avoid problems, but if you see anything you're hot for, call us or come in and grab it, 'cause as the saying goes "If You Snooze, You Lose." It's worth looking at the prices again even if a piece was on the page last time you visited since sometimes we'll drop prices on pieces that have been around awhile. It's also not a bad idea to reload the page if the date seems old since your browser might pull a copy out of its cache instead of showing you the most current update.

The "O" column is for Operating Condition and the "C" column is for Cosmetic Condition. All the ratings numbers for cosmetics are on a scale of 1 to 5, with the ratings as follows:

As far as condition ratings go, most will always be a 1 since if a unit doesn't work right we don't want to sell it. If you see a lower number it's because something's not functioning correctly on the unit but we don't want to total it because it's not a fatal flaw. Give us a call and we'll let you know the reason.

If it seems as if most cosmetics are 1's or 2's, it's because we try to only put out good equipment, and we've got limited space here to list stuff so we'll try to list the cleanest and most interesting gear.

The "Year" column lists the first year a unit was is production. If there is a second number, that's the year it was discontinued. If there isn't a second number it doesn't mean the unit's still in production, though that's possible. It might just mean we don't know when it was discontinued.

The warranty on all used stereo gear is 90 Days Parts and Labor unless otherwise marked in the Warr. column, and you have the option of trading any guaranteed piece back for the full purchase price for the same 90 days.

In very good condition with the exception of a couple of light scratches on the left side of one speaker. 99 Yes 1 2 Meridian G57 An excellent power amplifier from Meridian; 200w x 2. Uses technology developed for their flagship DSP8000 active loudspeaker system. This amplifier is fast, effortless and very musical. Has single end and balanced inputs and is also bridgeable. This amplifier has never been used in a system and was sealed until we open it for testing and photos. Includes original box and manual. Info 04  Yes  1 1 Thorens TD-320 A wonderful classic Thorens turntable. Well known and very respected. This turntable is in optimal operational condition, tonearm bearings are tight, auto lift and shutoff operating correctly, speed dead on. Has upgraded tonearm cables and a upgraded power supply. Cosmetically in good to very good condition. Lettering has rubbed off on controls, minor cosmetic flaws on base, looked used but not abused. Is very presentable. In picture of rear of turntable that is not a crack in the dustcover but a reflection of the cables. 86/89 Yes 1 2 Sold Rega Planar 3 A classic turntable from Rega. This turntable has a Grace 707 tonearm with a Denon DL-103 moving coil cartridge mounted. The cartridge physically looks very good and plays fine but we don't warranty used cartridges. In its stock form it is considered a stellar performer. This amplifier has had the Gold Rev A upgrades by SMc (Steve McCormack) Audio which brings that stellar performance to a totally different level! In very good condition. Review 00 Yes 1 2 1999 Playback Designs MPS-5 One of the hottest, most talked about, single box players on the market today!  Universally praised and coveted. Michael Fremer in his February 2010 Stereophile review put the MPS-5 on a par with the dCS Scarlatti system ($79,999). Stereophile Review. The MPS-5 designer, Andreas Koch, has been a major player in the development of many of today's digital formats having served as  principle on the design teams of Studer/ReVox, Dolby, Sony, and just prior to forming Playback Designs, EMM Labs. The MPS-5 is based upon a modified Esoteric transport, is extremely well constructed, and has a very clean layout that is both aesthetically pleasing and is easy to use. They can also be driven as conventional speakers allowing an extraordinary degree of flexibility. These are our store demo and are in very good to excellent condition. Comes with original boxes, manual and accessories. Full manufacturer warranty. Info, Review, Review. 06/10  Yes  1 2 1999 NAD  C541i  A very nice one box CD player from NAD. Well known and well reviewed. In very good condition. Includes remote.  02  Yes 1 2 225 ReVox UPDATED Scala 3.6, DLC-1. DLC-2 A tour de force by Revox. These digital active speakers are as beautiful to look at as they are to listen to. With a gorgeous real wood cherry veneer these slim, tall, elegant speakers promise something special even while laying dormant. And then you turn them on and that promise is fully delivered. Time alignment of the drivers is accomplished in the digital domain using a precise algorithm that produces a magnificently coherent sound field. Imaging is pinpoint accurate, three dimensional, and huge. Effortless musical presentation is accomplish through the use of three 130w amplifier per speaker that are perfectly match to the drivers. Included are the optional DLC-1 and DLC-2 controllers. The DLC-1 has a full complement of analog and digital inputs and outputs including a MM/MC phonostage. The DLC-2 has a two digital input and a single analog input using a 24 bit Delta Sigma A/D converter. Speakers are in excellent condition, includes original boxes, remote, and DLC-2 manual.
