D14 Series

After almost two years in development, the new era towers are now shipping. Each have their own purpose and application to meet individual placement needs. Special attention was paid to the crossovers and build quality and they are more efficient than previous models as well. Both are available in real Cherry and Rosewood veneers and are designed to look as good as they sound. With our proprietary drivers , the dense well-braced cabinets, and the (over the top) high-end X-Overs , we’re offering the best European style and performance speakers at less than half the price of our competition. OK…OK…so we’ve always offered that, but with the D14 we make that statement even bolder.

The D14 is a true 3-way design which also uses air core inductors and Sonicaps in the X-Over. Therefore, mid and high frequency performance will surpass the D4, and the bass extension goes down to the high 30’s in a real world listening environment. It is 38 ½” tall X 13” deep X 7” wide. We use a tuned slot in the rear, so in most cases you’ll want to place it at least 2’ out from the wall. This will give you realistic depth perception placing voice and instruments in the space they belong rendering a very realistic sound stage. The D14 is an 8 ohm speaker that is very easy to drive at 88.5db efficiency. Extensive internal bracing is used to reduce resonances allowing all of the energy from the speaker to resonate throughout their listening environment. The D14 weighs almost 60 lbs each!

McIntosh MS750
750 GB Music Server

With storage for more than 2,500 CD's and 120,000 individual songs, the McIntosh MS750 puts a world of music at anyone’s fingertips. It can hold, catalog, and sort over 2,000 hours of music at full CD sound quality on its 750 GB internal hard drive. Its easy-to-navigate, on-screen menus make storing and accessing your music collection a breeze. Create Playlists, burn discs to play in the car, network with your PC; the possibilities are limitless! For parties, the new jukebox function permits on-the-fly “song requests” to be added to a play list already in use.

The MS750 features an on-board analog to digital converter input that enables listeners to transfer their vinyl and tape collections to the hard drive; imagine playing your favorite LP’s in the car or on your portable digital music player.

decco

Most digital music is etched and hard. Mp3 files are almost unlistenable. However, if you take these files, transfer them digitally to an onboard digital to analog converter, run that signal through a “tube” preamp and power it with a high-current amplifier, the results are amazing! This is what you can do with a Decco with a one cable hook-up.

The Decco is a 50 watt per channel, hybrid tube integrated amplifier. It has an onboard digital to analog converter that sonically improves digital sources. iTunes or Windows Media, Squeezebox, Apple TV and Airport, Sonos, XM or Sirus tuners have never sounded better than through the Decco D/A converter. The Decco has a USB input for your computer, a coax and optical input for any of the digital devices listed above. It also has two analog inputs for docking stations, CD players, tape decks or phono preamp.

If you’re a headphone lover, the Decco has a superb headphone section that mutes the speakers when headphones are plugged in.

If you want to add a subwoofer or outboard amplifier, the Decco features a variable preamp-output.

If it’s digital, the Decco makes it sound great!

About the unique 2M design

2M is developed together with the Danish designer "MøllerJensen Design" from Copenhagen, Denmark - the same designer who designed the award winning cartridge MC Jubilee and the Kontrapunktseries.

The inspiration for designing the 2M was related to the facets of the diamond - elegantly concentrating its contours against the grooves on the record surface.

The name 2M was selected among several ideas. We wanted a modernname which should be easy to pronounce and to remember, and therefore an alpha numerical name was chosen. 2M means MM, which is the abbreviation for moving magnet.

We are using the same names on our 2M series as we use at our Rondo series: Red, Blue and Bronze. The 2M Black will become the flagship of 2M.

2M was the last product of our former chief engineer Per Windfield. He has worked with the 2M for the last two years.

NAD T775 A/V Surround Sound Receiver

The T775 has all the flexibility required to serve as the command center for even the most sophisticated Home Theater and multiroom systems. A full suite of video switching caters to all the popular video formats (HDMI, Component Video, S-Video, and Composite Video). The T775 uses the very latest V1.3 HDMI chips from Analog Devices. All input resolutions (480, 576, 720, and 1080) are supported at the output. All analog formats are cross converted between Composite, S-Video and Component. These analog inputs are also up-converted to HDMI output. Digital inputs (including a handy front panel input) and outputs are available in both coaxial and optical formats to make it easy to attach all your digital sources for playback and recording. Digital Inputs are converted to analog for multi-zone applications.
